The Honda Riding Simulator is the first of its kind to be introduced in Singapore. Singapore Safety Driving Centre is introducing the riding simulator course for its learner riders. The aim is to promote and expand the traffic safety education programme and to create greater sense of safety awareness among all motorcycle riders.

The objective is to train the riders to anticipate and react to potential road hazards in a 'safe environment'.

All conceivable hazard situations, which actually take place in riding a motorcycle, are computer-graphically simulated on the screen so that the rider can experience dummy riding hazards, which are hard to experience on actual road situation.

The riding simulator is developed through sophisticated combination of various highly advanced technologies. It is the 'riding experience' which is definitely the closest to real riding, turning, stopping and operations of a motorcycle. In addition, to create the exact 'feeling of riding', it reproduces the movement of winds and the sound of a moving motorcycle. As a result, anyone who ride it will totally forget that he is in the world of virtual reality.
